Roller Coaster has a seasonal song to sing
Orange and red leaves float to the ground He occupies a cage with a bell he can ring Clinging to the bars, hopping up and down His winter feathers are starting to show Shaking a can of seeds, he turns into a clown He races to the perch that holds his food Always hungry, he gobbles the meal down Then in a flash, he resumes a playful mood Cool breezes spark memories, something he used to know He has a bird's-eye view of the park below Gazing at bird formations that freely fly South for the winter is where they go They are gone before he chirps goodbye He heard tales of when his ancestors flew away from snow Fleeting sense memory, he reverts back to tame The fireplace is yummy and his human is there Her sweet soft voice coos his beloved name His gilded cage is safe, when the trees are bare What on earth did his fore-feathers know...
