existence evaporated
the moment the bruise
was created
scanning the pond
for answers of immortality
or insecurity

violence dictates
the land with media
& gossip
lost with no assurance
or love from family
or friends

black strands of hair
soak next to the mirror
by the illuminous lake
blue eyes shower
the wasted grass
as they view the image

unable to feel agony
but saw hurt
drifting towards her
