The image of fire burned in his eyes,
Reflecting the desire he felt inside.
The demons called him from his bed -
Using beauty to toy with his head.

Knowing the truth behind the lies -
Knowing their beauty was but a disguise,
He stayed within the circle he made
To keep the vampires far away.

The women moved closer to where he laid;
Attempting to sway him from where he stayed
Their garments fluttered in the wind.
It blew the tendrils closer to him.

All throughout the night, the three ladies sang
Their eerie, beautiful song through their fangs.
Till morning came along with the sun,
And the first battle had been won.
