My heart  shattered on the floor
as I listened to you cry.
Your pain was too much to bear
you kept asking Jesus why?

He finally answered you
in the only way He could.
He sent his angels here
just like he said He would.

They dried your tears last night
they took away your pain.
The smile upon your face
said you had much to gain.

I peeked in your bedroom door.
just silence all around.
Your breathing was no more
you were heaven bound.
