Bomberman began life as Bob R Mann. He was raised in a family of arsonists and terrorists. He was orphaned at the age of 9 when his parents, Fred R Mann and Jane D Wo-Mann were killed blowing up the Petrol Station. Trying to leave his past behind, he started off working at a quarry, where his use of explosives and short temper earned him the nickname “Bomberman”.
While working in the Quarry, he searched for a better life when one day, everything changed. After being given a new suit, he set off on his own adventure. Armed with a seemingly never ending set of bombs, he began to destroy countless walls and new enemies. He started off badly however, after being charged for bombing a council house. What was even more unfortunate was, there were people in it. Then one day, it happened. A Freak accident caused by a random company called Hudson seriously deformed Bomberman into something much cuter and they used him as there new Video game star. Bomberman didn’t want fame but Hudson didn’t care. They used him and put him in everything from Tie’s to T-Shirts to Socks to Boxer Shorts. Although he became a world famous icon and starred in countless games, he was often the subject of ridicule from the public and people laughed at him when he walked by. He was very lucky to get away free when he bombed someone who mocked him. The Police dismissed it as an Unfortunate discharge. His Counterpart, the Black Bomber, A.K.A Black remained in the shadows, wanting what Bomberman resented, although the two became friends, feeling like they’d met before. The Black Bomber was alright with starring in many roles but wanted a bigger piece of the action. He did get it once. However, it was The Black Bomberman’s Story: The Date Rape simulation. What's even worse though is that his much lesser known co-starts Yellow and Pink then got to do a crossover with Hudson's Bonk. This enraged him to no end. Bomberman tried to keep his cool but seeing himself in countless, rubbish sequels, prequels and Spin-off’s had taken there toll on his mental health. He finally lost it after the release of Bomberman Hardball. One day, he had an idea of what to do and accidentally killed himself after getting too excited when “Ka-Boom!”. He was killed when his “secret” supply of bombs went off suspiciously after being visited by Black. Black was thrilled as, although his friend had died, he could finally get some of the better action but it was short lived. Bomberman was then resurrected by Hudson employees to his shock and dismay and Black was jailed under conspiracy of attempted murder. Also, Black was found guilty of possession of Class A Drugs and was caught selling them outside a Primary School to a Chocobo, a Hudson employee, Yellow, his Mother and the Pac-Man ghosts. Bomberman tried to go into reclusion but there was no luck. He suffered deep depression as time went on and contemplated suicide but the only way he could think of, bombing himself, which failed many times. This was due to the resurrection leaving behind an unforeseen power that made him stronger and had a long-term effect. Some would see this as a blessing, he saw it as a curse. He had to do something but he didn’t know what. Then, it hit him. Things went wrong again and this time, he paid for it as he spent his remaining days in Jail, where he was reunited with Black. He was jailed after being found guilty for charges of terrorism, after a failed suicide bombing on those who started it all, Hudson. Then, in 2049, forty years after the jailing, White, who had never aged due to the Bomber's having youthful looks forever, had died after a rape attack from a cellmate 5 years earlier gave him HIV and it gradually got worse. The Cellmate was later found dead under “Mysterious” circumstances and with a smoking crater in his new cell. On his death bed, he spoke of an old love. This was later revealed to be The Black Bomber, who had gender reassignment surgery 50 years before. The Black Bomber lives on but is haunted forever by that past incident. Several Hudson employees sympathized for Bomberman and founded the worldwide campaign, “Bomberman is surprisingly not a terrorist.” This is the story of a tragic figure.
