When we were young
It used to be so different then, so carefree and whimsical back when we were young. We laughed and played until the sun went down, back when we were young. Always hoping, wishing, dreaming, pretending all the while, back when we were young. Fairy-tales and make believe, ponytails and ribbons back when we were young The two of us in wonderland, hand in hand we'd run all day back when we were young We used to be the best of friends, with promises to never change, back when we were young. Now here we are in present day, what happened to the way we were, back when we were young? Sonia H. Rivera
