A time for us someday there will be
Our love will stand the trials of time And Flourish for all to see Through Fire and Water and Plague and Sword It will withstand all and more When you say three words My heart cried these words never knowing when The would be tried and tested For the truth that lay within I stand not against Plague or Fire But the greatest beast of all: Time; for he Consistently makes me tire. Fear not, my love, I will remain true To your love and my promise and my love I remain true to you Once upon a time you promised me forever Forever has come and will pass, perhaps We will never be together. Yet, I believe, in something in us You are all I have or need or want, You are everything I love.
