The little mouse didn't say a word.

The tree frogs peeped and the baby birds cheeped,
But the little mouse didn't say a word.

The front gate creaked and the pump handle squeaked.
The tree frogs peeped and the baby birds cheeped,
But the little mouse didn't say a word.

The honeybees hummed and the sage grouse drummed.
The front gate creaked and the pump handle squeaked.
The tree frogs peeped and the baby birds cheeped,
But the little mouse didn't say a word.

The tomcat yowled and the hound dog growled.
The honeybees hummed and the sage grouse drummed.
The front gate creaked and the pump handle squeaked.
The tree frogs peeped and the baby birds cheeped,
But the little mouse didn't say a word.

The meadowlark warbled and the waterfall burbled.
The tomcat yowled and the hound dog growled.
The honeybees hummed and the sage grouse drummed.
The front gate creaked and the pump handle squeaked.
The tree frogs peeped and the baby birds cheeped,
But the little mouse didn't say a word.

The horses neighed and the donkey brayed.

The owl asked, "Who?" and his wife said, "You!"
The horses neighed and the donkey brayed.

The field crickets chirped and the fat bear burped.
The owl asked, "Who?" and his wife said, "You!"
The horses neighed and the donkey brayed.
The meadowlark warbled and the waterfall burbled.
The tomcat yowled and the hound dog growled.
The honeybees hummed and the sage grouse drummed.
The front gate creaked and the pump handle squeaked.
The tree frogs peeped and the baby birds cheeped,
And the little mouse cried, "SHUT UP!"
