Lavenders, pinks, and blues
Darkness becoming light with pastel hues, Before me another day lies As I am breathless at another sunrise. The brightness of the sun Asks me what good today I've done; Have I wasted another day, Or did I brighten another's way? The evening settles in Birds hush, silence surrounds me then, Bright bold reds, golds, oranges met Dawn, day, dusk...another sunset. Dark silence, quiet, a haunted hush Disturbed only by the wind's rush; Eyes close in a deep sleep While angel's my soul guard and keep.
