WINDFALL
Small whiskered face just visible among the leaves, a young squirrel watched another one leap to a neighboring tree, a walnut firmly clenched in its teeth. Suddenly, yet another squirrel ambushed it, startling it into dropping the nut. The two chased each other, chattering loudly. Seizing the unexpected prize, the youngster made good his escape.
