The Darkness of Love
Rated: E | Poetry | Family | #1496463
the results of a death of a girl's mother.
Deprived, absolutely deprived,
For love I really have to strive,
While others are being comfortably held,
I turn my head and go back to hell…

Its fairly alright I say,
Be glad you have a place to stay,
There are people who love you,
They once fought to hold you…

Do you remember them saying,
In their arms you’ll be staying,
Safe, warm, well fed, more fun,
All ready to welcome the sun..

In the light I once played,
In the darkness I now stay,
Why did Mommy have to go?
Heaven is very far you know?

Even though she couldn’t take me along,
Why leave me here with the pain so strong?
There’s no excuse why I couldn’t be,
Visiting on and off with glee…

Doesn’t Heaven know,
I miss my mommy so,
Please mommy please,
Take me and rest in peace.
