The Cat’s Meow
Not so much about cats exactly but she plays a role

While you sit around and watch TV
the world is changing in great degree.
The news won’t tell you what caused the spat;
they’ll blame it on the neighbor’s cat.
The king may strut and show his stuff,
but the men in back have puffed him up.
Now that the boat has set to sail,
the cat sits back and licks her tail.
She knows that the latest toys
are coveted by kings and little boys.
