Dark Side ~ by Candle Maker
I sojourned in the dark side of my soul Where right and wrong tell stories in the gloom Where Lucifer is strong and fully whole And dark foreboding permeates the room And there did battle with the pain in me Where no Olympic torch enlightens fame Where every human spirit comes to see The outcome of his own primordial game I overcame the terror of the night And hailed the splendor of a new-born day Forsaking morbid rage and rabid fright I chose to turn and simply walk away And when I chose to live and not to die I saw you with a twinkle in your eye Lost and Found ~ by Blueyez You struggled to the path from where you'd strayed, between what's right and wrong, where light meets dark. That's where you found this lonely renegade, igniting in my eyes an ancient spark. I cast on you the twinkle from my eye and tempt you, far beyond your sinless trail. Among the clover, sweet and wild, we lie, and seed our minds beneath love's tender veil. We drink from hearts, like bubbling wine, and swoon intoxicated in the mystery. Our pulses beat a wild and wordless tune, for when we touched, we touched eternity. Now, deep within your smiling eyes I see my long lost soul is smiling back at me.
