Tonight We Meet Again
Rated: 18+ | Other | Other | #1497054
I always have the craziest dreams and I honestly would have it no other way.
Close my eyes and feet leave the ground.
Off without a sound,
no goodbyes and no regrets
There I'll soar, body I forget.
The universe without ceiling,
can't contain this feeling.
Imagination bursting with beauty from above,
a stream of bright lights colored with love.

For a short time it all goes away.
Sand in the hour glass can't stop but it somehow finds a way,
to slow down to an almost halt,
as up from the clouds I proudly balk.

What journey I set upon tonight I know not,
packed a bag and the sun doesn't feel so hot.
Creativity is unleashed as my corpse lay still.
Death to flesh when my soul is revealed.
Hard not to get lost in the feeling of power,
as my dreams turn a millisecond into an hour.

The nightmare though, it lays in wait.
It seems that all dreams must meet this fate.
I contend with reality's lies,
as I squint and open my eyes.
In the morning each experience meets this end,
yet I fret not for tonight we meet again.
