Count down to Pi
Archimedes' Pi poetical form

Avg Rating: (2)
The clock ticks
mercilessly-
a harbinger of doom
passing by,
counting out our time, individual grains of sand,
until we meet with our demise.

Archimedes calculated Pi to 3.14286. This form follows that with 3 words in the first line followed by one word, then four, etc. Thanks to Brooke - thanks veterans for leading me to "Pi (3.14286) and to hbar for introducing me to the poetry of Pi.
