NEST: haikus

Leaves, twigs, grass and threads
Travel up from the ground and
Form, in trees, a nest.

Thousands of sorties,
The bird makes to form the nest,
Where the young may grow.

When the young grow big,
They fly away from their roots,
The nest abandoned.
