A LITTLE GIRL’S SECRET
Do you see the misty eyes? Do you see that tiny bruise? Well it hides behind it a Big and dirty scar in heart. No, I won’t let a tear drop. My bruise will ever be wrapped. No one shall ever know that I have a wound in the heart. Pray, to whom shall I reveal That I have been so abused? He’s supposed to protect me, He who has punctured my heart. He should be giving me care. At least that’s what he ought to. But for those who are around, He has got a golden heart! • Written in 7-7-7-7, abcD, efgD… format. M C Gupta 22 November 2008
