So sweet the minute, and so short the day,
The day that time delivered a bouquet. A spray with scents to awaken deep sleep Entered the moment with a luscious sweep. Carried with the aroma, deep brown pools, Precious gems these- the goddess’s jewels. These pools of two, shining with Heaven’s light That carried the note of secret invite, Into the night filled with the stars above And bringing with it all the scents of love. In the dimness was lost the royal gown Though it had settled upon the goose down, And nested in feathers, the royal crown. And the mountains split and opened the sky Now in between under the night I lie. Oh! These blossoms, such flowers from Eden Watered with care by my love Song Garden. In the minute, a moment of living Within the short day that was not giving, And buried deep within the spray so sweet, Laid the reason that life was now complete. Within the garden, there was a season, And this season gave to me life’s reason; And by he who peers through the stars above, Eternally Song Garden I will love.
