A Thanksgiving Prayer

For the food on my table
And Love in my heart,
I give thanks!

For the breath in my body
and sight in my eyes,
I give thanks!

For the warmth of my spirit
and joy in my soul,
I give thanks!

For the feast of sharing
my life with others,
I give thanks!

For those who die
that we may live,
I give thanks!

For a country that is free
and the freedom of choice,
I give thanks!
