Back and forth Through the clothe of my family Sowing together my mother's side to my father's With the tears that it leaves behind Using a cancer to take away my father's Baby sister's oldest daughter Not yet fourty- a mother of five Children without a mother for all of time The next day my mother calls I hear the painin her voice Telling me to sit down He uses a car to take my aunt's young life My mother's baby brother Hurting from loosing his life long mate Their marriage was over 20 years But always a bride, and not just a wife Death has woven together Both sides of my heart With the tears of my family I can not stop the
