THANKSGIVING: an acrostic
Thanks Lord, for the bounty You have given. How can we ever repay all Your debts? All we can do is bow to Your presence. No there’s no better way of serving You. Knowing that you are always merciful, Sometimes we tend to have a taste of sin. God, we know that You would redeem us still. In the end Your kindness will know no bounds. Verily it is said You’re bountiful, In giving as also in forgiving. No man should forget, Lord, to learn from You: Giving is virtuous, not receiving. • Written in pentameter as an acrostic around the prompt: THANKSGIVING • First prize winner in ‘Monthly Look Into Your Soul Contest’ "Invalid Item" • Initially written as entry no. 470130 in the book, FAITH, NATURE & INSPIRATIONAL, {item: 959448}.
