Fairytale Betrayal
A mixture of a fairytale and a great betrayal.

I’m waiting in this cold place
Waiting for my supposed prince
I doubt his entire existence
No one can rescue me
Chains bind me to the wall
The hard, slimy, frozen wall
Only a small, soft light illuminates the area
Probably just a poor forgotten firefly
A lightening bug close to death
Man, do I know how that feels
My mind wanders away
To a faraway place
Not to a picturesque castle
If that’s what you’re thinking
Just a blue house on a simple street
Nothing big, nothing small
My friends crowding around
With that depressing thought
I float back to the real world
A single tear slides down my face
It’s their fault I’m here
It’s their fault I’m chained to this wall
It’s their fault I’m so close to death
They’re the ones that betrayed me
In this tragic fairytale
