Lost Love

I miss my love very much.
I miss the warmth of his smile and
the gentleness of his touch.
I miss the way he wrapped his arms
around me.
I miss the butterflies in my stomach
every time we would meet.
I miss the sound of his voice and the
laughter we shared.
I really honestly thought he cared.
He made me feel special and beautiful
the way a woman should feel.
I thought we had something no one
could steal.
Now I am alone and in despair.
My cherished wish became a nightmare.
