Memory
A lighter take on memory loss... not meant to offend, but I only write comedic poetry

My reading specs
Went missing today
But I find the gloves
Misplaced Saturday

My car keys…
In the medicine chest?
Ice cream in the pantry?
Well, that’s a big mess!

My druggist’s name
Is Doris? Delilah?
Well, my son is Bill
His wife is… Mariah?

No wait, she once was
My next door neighbor
She passed away
I heard sometime later

My memory it
Just isn’t the best
Now where did I put
My new yellow vest?
