Night and Day Deep in the middle of herself, she dwelled inside dark caves of thought. Her withering soul upon the vine was everything that he was not. She was darkness, a silent song who walked in lonely yesterdays. He was sunlight in each moment soothing shadows of night away. One day she found him next to her, his whispers warm upon her ear. He hinted of his poems, unsung, and bird songs drifting in the air. He touched her eyes in gentle hues and wrapped her with his scented skies, then bathed her in his golden beams and set her free from sure demise. He softly flowed into her heart and eased the shadows from her mind. Now in her eyes a new light shines as daylight and the night entwined.
