ALLIGATOR MUSE
Found a little Alli-gator
Hiding atop my radi-ator
Put him in my refrig-erator
Then served him up with mashed po-taters!*Bigsmile*

If you believe this, here is another tale, but this one really happened...

GEORGIE, OUR BEAUTIFUL PET PEACOCK.
This was our daughter, Sandy's  Pet when she lived by the river.
I know she loved him, so want to share her story now.

Was walking by the river, when much to my surprise
I heard funny noises, and could not believe my eyes.
Then I saw a baby duck following our pet peacock
While his  brothers and sisters all were hiding behind a rock.

Mama duck was calling, Peacock was calling too
And the little baby duck just didn't know what to do.
So the Mama gathered ducklings and all began to swim
Out into the river but Georgie Peacock wouldn't get in.

He ran along the river bank as the ducklings swam downstream
They were going much to fast and Georgie couldn't keep up with them.
He flapped his wings, and flew along beside the river bank
Georgie's adopted family thought big blue Dad must be a prank.

Our beautiful blue Peacock did not come home that night
We thought he'd left forever, when he flew out of our sight.
But early next morning, Georgie was up in our Cypress tree
And all little Ducklings were below eating Georgie's peacock feed.

This is a true story of two friends who met at Rainbow River
Water is cold there all year round, and makes every one shiver.
Georgie could just not swim, and Ducklings cannot fly
And why they became best of  friends I never will  know why.

After that each day our Georgie would fly along down the stream
And behind Mama Duck her babies followed her  like a lightning beam.
Every night Georgie flew back home to nest in our Cypress tree
And every morning he'd share his breakfast with his new family.

The ducklings grew, spring came soon,  and they soon learned to fly
Geogie always  flew along with them  into the big blue sky.
But one day he did not return to roost in our big Cypress tree
But I  know he is out there somewhere *Heart*happy with his own  family.
