WORSE THAN A BLOKE
When a learned man acts smart And does needlessly poke His nose in alien fields, He just looks like a bloke. When a man thinks he’s funny And tries to crack a joke That’s dumb, devoid of humor, He’s just another bloke. When a charlatan puts on Scholarly poet’s cloak, He appears simply a fool, No better than a bloke. When a foolish man just like A frog in the well croaks, He pains others’ ears and minds.
