SITTING BETWEEN TWO STOOLS
For those who prize knowledge, logic, It is true, as a rule, That they can suffer anything, But can’t suffer a fool. When life is dreary, for a change, Jokes are certainly cool. But can we perceive humor in What says a petty fool? Why, of causing pain to others, Make ignorance a tool? But devoid of all common sense, What else can do a fool? Who has not heard it is foolish To sit between two stools?
