Getting Used to Bad News
"nod your head again, it's more bad news..forgive and forget, all the worries and blues.."

This item requires reviews with ratings.
My job’s been a mess, and my boss is a fool,
My co-workers know that I can’t keep my cool.
Everyone’s fighting a fight they can’t win,
While I’m trying, with patience, to never give in
To the cold-hearted demands of a God who has taught me
That you can’t please everyone, and how tough I should be…

Nod your head, for sure, it’s more bad news,
The same old people tightening the screws.
Perhaps I could buy myself a handgun,
Without us folks, where would be the fun?
I’d shoot up the place – how fair would that be?
I’ll be looking for an isle, and resting under a palm tree!

But back to the will, and the struggle to care –
You must be willing to reach out and to share
All of the knowledge and details you’re told,
The young don’t know how, only those who are old…
But student and teacher, we’re both so aware
Of politics as usual, and the people with flair!

Just nod your head again, it’s more bad news,
Forgive and forget, all the worries and blues…
Given enough time, everything falls to pieces
And becomes resurrected and a newly formed thesis.
Because our brilliance cannot avoid detection
Despite some flaws, and some hardy imperfection…
