** #1504102 Not An Image **

The moon ticks off the seconds,
minutes, hours… until it fades
in the pocket of the morning
sun.

Still, I wait…

The clouds dance their misty
ballet in the sky playing
hide and seek with the stars.

Still, I wait…

The morning mist slides
across the ground, swirling
and painting new images
that pass before my unseeing
eyes.

Still, I wait…

I wait for love to find me.
I wait for my heart to fill
with the winds of passion
and take me to undiscovered
places…

I wait for forgiveness for loneliness.

I wait…
