PORTALS OF MY SOUL Come and peek through portals of my soul today And find why my friends all call me GypsyRose. My journey's covered many miles along the way Running, Walking, studying life, through highs and lows. Though seasons change, I much prefer warm weather. The cold will fog my brain and soon I will freeze. Southern summers heat will always push my lever, And I long to see spring buds on the lilac trees. Montana skies and mountains inspire reckoning Florida's year round blossems always call me back, Waves along North Michigan shores are beckoning, Southern deserts splendor always bloom on track. Can you understand the "gypsy blood" I have? Don't tell me now it's time I should settle down. To stay in one place would be an open grave So...I'll keep on searching for that "perfect" town... Thank God for dear friends I've made along the way A "perfect journey" He's given me this day.
