I don’t live in the moment.
I live in many moments. In the past that never was, In the future that cannot be, In the present that only exists In my mind. Reality slips by, Time drifts on, My life is lived vicariously Through the characters in my mind. I’m happy in moments that never were, I’m mighty in moments that cannot be, I’m defeated in the moment I wish existed Only in my mind. I don’t live in the moment. I live in many moments. Yet I don’t seem to live at all.
