My Two Kids

My two kids are as good as gold
Listening to each story like it's never been told

They bring me smiles on the darkest of days
Touching my heart in so many ways

Their eyes do sparkle like diamonds and gems
Their laughter sings praise like favorite old hymns

Each morning they rise with joy in their heart
Everyday I'm amazed because they're so smart

Learning each thing as easy as can be
Am I teaching them or are they teaching me

Though I may fall short and be beaten down
My Kids make me smile and forget how to frown

Small in stature though they may be
Like giants in my heart they are to me

Gods own gift right here on earth
My Kids show me what life’s really worth

So thank you to Luke and thank you to Livy
And thank you to God for making me privy
