Dark Vows
A 35 word free verse poem of dark love and belonging

A lover's embrace,
a caress of lips
on candent skin...

A rush of need
that sensually
mesmerizes the mind,
an intimate giving,
an intimate taking.

Life's essence sings
a tantalizing song
of dark promise...

mine forever.

Notes: An image of a two people embracing - with a small trickle of blood from neck wounds on one - was the inspiration; the word count was the challenge *Laugh*
