** #1505746 Not An Image **

life’s moment passes
eyes close and quiet prevails
a winter chorus

gossamer thoughts drift
consciousness seeds fertile ground
a new blossoming

a buoyant rising
starlight paints a homeward path
aeternum’s lanterns

Notes:
Prompt: Heaven
I decided to take a literal approach to the prompt.
This is done in a contemporary form which includes 3 lines, 17 syllables in the traditional 5-7-5 pattern, and a seasonal reference.

aeternum – forever; eternity
