My Way Back

My Way Back

I've forsaken God for all my selfish wants.
Saddened by trials of my sinful thoughts.
Lost in this world of many paths to walk.
God forgive me I did not take time to talk.

My goal is to love and worship You God.
I hope I am worthy of Your sacred grace.
To walk with Your presence by my side.
Show me the path I must walk with You.

I have taken many different paths before.
Some I have walked on others I have ran.
Most had crooks and hills to tempt me.
I want to walk a straight path with You.
