Loving Grace

Satan seizes quickly and holds so tight,
Reviewing our failures for us each night.
Seeking to make our self-hatred catch light,
Heavenly Father, please help us to fight.

Dear God we're drowning in unwanted sin.
We beg You with heart, mind, word and pen.
Only You can grant us the strength to win.
Only You can provide our peace within.

You know this Evil One we must daily face.
Please grant us this victory in our race.
We confess our sins assured you'll erase
Thank you, Father, for your loving grace.
Amen
