The lost child
My first attempt at an entry for Songs, Movies, and More, Oh My!

I heard the bells on Christmas Day
and saw the first snow fall
What child is this was the question
On the lips of all
The child was lost
Sans master or mistress
To me she said she’d have a
Blue Christmas
What is Christmas
I thought, child in hand
Her parents weren’t
Walking in a winter wonderland
She was lost, you see
And it would cause them such strife
How could they think
It’s a wonderful life
But, turning the corner,
Smiles from their fear
They were questioning
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Seeing daughter safe
The tears did well
Rudolph even laughed,
Shaking his silver bells
Reuniting the family
It’s my tale to tell
About the parents of
The littlest angel
