I heard the bells on Christmas Day
and saw the first snow fall What child is this was the question On the lips of all The child was lost Sans master or mistress To me she said she’d have a Blue Christmas What is Christmas I thought, child in hand Her parents weren’t Walking in a winter wonderland She was lost, you see And it would cause them such strife How could they think It’s a wonderful life But, turning the corner, Smiles from their fear They were questioning Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Seeing daughter safe The tears did well Rudolph even laughed, Shaking his silver bells Reuniting the family It’s my tale to tell About the parents of The littlest angel Line Count: 28
