Hatred
Written in 7th grade.

Hatred-

Hatred is blood red, cutting deep into the churning water.
It sounds like a cackling fire, laughing its way across the land.
Consuming until there's nothing left, but lasting forever.
It tastes like a rotten apple fallen from its perch years before.
It smells like the fumes of roadkill, covering the ground for miles on end.
Hatred feels like being caught in a bear trap, the claws piercing until, I, too, fall
.... forever trapped.
