The Endless Sky

                                              The Endless Sky
                   
                                      Spacing at the sky's glow
                                      I noticed a face I know
                                      briefly in the clouds that flow
                                    like a dream the wind ceased to blow
                                             
                                      lower my head to avoid
                                      that smile of her's I enjoyed                       
                                      Now I strive to fill this void
                                    her hands still hold my heart destroyed

                                      my sad gaze and her lost eyes
                                      contemplate the endless skies
                                      to heaven both our stares rise
                                      but look away as the day dies                                       

                                      and even the lightest tought
                                      is haunting when you're alone
                                      it's written and it's well known
                                      it's so hard when you're on your own
                                                                   
                                      back then she made my sky bright
                                      me without her was like night
                                      now there's not one star in sight
                                      and the moon denies me it's soft light

                                      let our hearts never allow
                                      to regret, I don't know how
                                      even if just for me now
                                      eternal love is a poet's vow

                                Like a wolf with no moon that loves to howl !!
