Arise She lies crumpled in the garbage heap of a cold, dark alley, her pale thin arms bruised and bare. Unchecked tears trail down dirty cheeks. Her body shivers in the cold night air. Helpless and alone, her spirit wanes. Her face shows a youth too swiftly passed. She quivers and weeps over many lost chances, lost choices, and roads not taken, long past. Out of her anguish, a familiar voice utters, "The pain is not stronger than your Father's might. Whatever the guilt that blackens your soul, The Darkness does not swallow the eternal Light."
