Song for Cory
And the long lonely cowboy snuffs out the candles, prays only to stars that watch over his sleep. When the night hovers near him and the coyote's at bay, he thinks he is crazy but there's no one to care whether he makes it through another long day. And the long lonely cowboy lights him a fire to boil up some water prepare him some tea. Then the sheep gather round him, his only companions. They watch as he stretches to greet the new day. Then he lights an old candle, keeps thoughts at bay. © 2008 Kåre Enga [165.391] 2008-12-30 Prompts: crazy, cowboy, candle, cares.
