I have thought long and hard of what words to let you see
And even longer if I should give this to you at all
I could try and compare thee to a summers day
But since I’m not Shakespeare I wont even pretend to know what he’s talking about
Some may say this is cheesy and a cliché
But it’s from my heart….

Here or there my heart is always yours,
even in the city or across the sea.

You are my everything, my greatest fear is to be your nothing.
I want to make you happy,
by being your friend, your lover, your bodyguard, or just leaving you alone.
The choice is yours.

I know how annoying someone in love can be,
I really hope that that’s not me,
So this will be the last,
Or the first thing,
I’ll write for you.

I’m not trying to stop you from doing anything or seeing anyone,
I am a thousand miles away and I know that would be stupid.
But I am willing to fight for your love ,
I have faced all but the gates of hell to not add another story to that chair ride,
You know my past, you know I have the courage to change.
I have the strength to fight, we can make it work.

I am yours forever and always.
All I want to know is if the spark still exist inside your heart,
or has the time extinguished the flame.
All I want is the truth no need to worry, it cannot be mean,
Even if this makes you hate me the truth is better than wishing for a phantasy.

You are one of the few good women left that has the strength
to not let anything make you go against what you believe,
We had this conversations a few months back,
Everything I said is true.

I do not care if this doesn’t make any since to anyone but you.
I don’t care what anyone says or thinks but you.

We still need to do the smoothies, we still need to go skiing,
And anything else we said we’d add to the list, we’ve still yet to make.
I have never not kept a promise to you,
I promised to see you over break, if even for a day.
Through difficulties we made it happen,
Together you and I can overcome anything,
This I promise you with all my heart.

When I told you there was only two things in my past I wish I could change, it was true,
But now as I sit here, stand here, or pace through my room,
Anything I’ve done to try and help me think back on how to say sorry,
Makes me realize two things… one that I now only have one thing I wish I could change.
The second seems obsolete.
And two saying I’m sorry for anything I’ve done or have not done seems a cliché,
I will never ask you for forgiveness nor will I ask you to forget anything,
I only ask to fix my idiotic mistakes.

Forever I’ll be yours, beyond judgment day my soul will search,
I only wish one day to make you mine.

Share this to all your friends with a smile.
Or burn it! cursing my unrealistic fantasies.

I have experienced good times and bad,
but one of my favorites was watching 8-mile,
for laying on the couch with you made my imagination run wild,
And I realized with you by my side anything is possible.
I wouldn’t be afraid to climb and achieve great goals,
Because I wouldn’t be afraid to fall.
You in my heart is all I need,
with you there to catch me anything can be.

This is not a vile attempt to regain that which through my stupidity I let slip away,
It is just a question where a simple yes or no will do.
Does the spark still remain?
