BEYOND REASON’S CALL
You think I’m a poison weed And have shattered your life. You no longer find comfort In the arms of your wife. I have sacrificed for you My each cherished desire, But now from my company You so want to retire. I wish you could tell me why You’re not faithful to me; Why you hit me so often Causing ignominy. No, I won’t ask any more Nasty questions at all. I know you have no answers, You’re beyond reason’s call. • Written in abcb, 7-6-7-6 format. M C Gupta 1 January 2009
