December Bye Bye
The last day is motionless, a new month and year approaches makes us fearless. Mirror images of our past seeps into our memories, making us sad and proud. Melting snow covers the land, if it appears something is at hand. The cold freezing air has no mercy, we dress in warmth with somewhat fancy. The taste of mint candies linger on our lips, celebration foods hang heavy on our hips. Visitors musky odors lay on our pillows, leaving us alone with our shadows. Minds and souls full of majesty memories, not of consumed calories. Every minute and day, ticks by to say Good Bye December Good bye.
