How could we live so long in one flesh?
So uncomfortable and yet so naturally good We would not have lived it any other way There was never an absence of you I could not bear the l lost for one day My smooth hand and your strong touch Will change; yet not too much We can see no wrinkles, They are there; we don't care You are my Prince; Suitor of my teens Even then this Love Story was seen Each day we live in hope We found sanity learning to cope Days that emerged were not owned Until we learned from seeds sown Good; unwise; stupid and just funny We see good for all our work Raising the five with very little money Staying in touch with friends Touching the insight of the Almighty Honoring Him to the day of our end What if I never known your kiss What blessings I would have missed Your passion and sensitivity The lessons you taught me on loyalty True respect for my individuality The gift of you has truly been mine Author’s Comments This poem was written as a substitute of the one named: “WHEN YOU THINK OF ME”. I hope you enjoy both of them. By Earthene Fleming August 06, 2006 12:55 a.m. est.
