I felt the wind as
It swished by my face I held out my hand CAUGHT IT! Something was there It was delightful It was precious It comforted my soul I opened my palm ever so slowly Why…It was You! I heard rain and felt it falling I held out my hand and CAUGHT IT! There was something there It was warm It was tantalizing It was stimulating It was courageous I opened my hand, Oh so slowly To see the glistening To feel the beating To hear the breathing It was the Essence of You! I have found you in all of the Elements of every gift from God In the rain In the wind In the sun Because I have seen the rain fall With you at my side I have faced strong winds with Jehovah and you I have exalted in the sun light Of a new day A new beginning You . . . You, are always there We. Together, have done a good thing We have imbued a child with love Of Jehovah Of Jesus Christ Of Holy Angels Of the whole world of humankind We have learned to love from every Aspect of Divine Wisdom Agape for the world of mankind Even those who didn’t yet know How to return it to us Storge’ for our families Loyal and True Philia, for friends With tender affections With Loyal Love, I bring Eros from me to you Warm and passionate...priceless Yes, my love, that was You that I CAUGHT In the wind I EMBRACED In the rain I SAW In the sunlight of Jehovah’s Day I have held you close You hold me close DON’T LOOSEN YOUR GRIP!! BY Earthene Fleming August 16, 2003 Author's Comments: To Taryn and Gus on Their 25th Anniversary "I really reveled in composing this poem. It is written in this unusual style because this is the way I hear it my mind. This poem is created for my dearest cousin and her husband. They really personify this kind of love. Therefore, it was easy to write for them. I have given them the right to share it friends and copy it; but not publish it. All legal publishing rights remain my own."
