TO BE

         TO BE

         Written to encourage and inspire me "to be" more like Him in every way.  These are my heart's greatest desires, and He has said that if I will delight myself in Him, he will give me the desires of my heart.  I will review these written items regularly to measure my progress and to keep myself focused.  I expect to add items as time passes and His grace increases.

         I choose, intend --- it is my will and purpose to be:

          delighted in Him

          thrifty

          content

          righteous in Him

          a student of His Word

          a teacher of His Word

          the image of Him

          His wholly/holy prophet

          true to Him

          the fruit of His Spirit, walking in and bearing His:  love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperence

          a bearer of my own crosses, without complaint

          an example to everyone within my realm of influence

          a great writer

          friendly

          a friend to everyone I meet and/or come into contact with on any/every level

          virtuous

          His light in this world

          full of His glory

          emptied of gossip

          without reproach

          without superfluity

          sincere

          honest

          trustworthy
