Lonely Trombonist
a poem I wrote a long time ago.

Lonely Trombonist

I press my lips
I feel no love

Lifelessness and coldness
emanates in her metal

pressed against her
remembering the void

A breath into her frame
For hope of forgetfulness

only to create
sounds
of
emptiness
