The Glass Mountain
A Goddess comes to ruin our world in this poem of changed lives.

A Goddess of Change parades hope, yet puzzles
an object of mad desire, twisted love and wanton lust.
A whirling dervish, destroyer of stunning stars;
ruler of lost passion, promised fate crushed.

Shattered hourglasses, treasured photos, particles of sand.
Lost memories twirl cruelly out of control.
Miracles gleam, teasing, crumbling into fake crystal dust.
Burned pages, ashes of stories painfully swirl and flow.

Lost in technicolor dreams, lives fade to black and white.
Friends become strangers, names long forgotten.
Rain; silver daggers, Sun; an ice filled ball, Snow; sparks of fire.
A world closed, sealed forever in a glass mountain.

Blessed rain arrives; compassion rainbows, love clouds.
A sacred hand opens a mountain thought sealed.
Memories touch people, angels repair shattered lives.
Only one has power to change hearts: forever healed.
